G.I.F.T.
In-school support for 8th and 9th grade girls

GIFT, (Giving Insight Friendship and Truth), groups meet weekly at schools in Montgomery and

surrounding counties during lunch time or study hall period.

Trained mentors meet with girls in small groups to encourage and model character as the foundation

for creating healthy relationships and bright futures.

Topics include:
• Self-worth and Self-respect
• Friendships and Relationships
• Drugs and Alcohol
• Future Choices

 

T.E.A.M
In-school support for 8th and 9th grade boys

TEAM (Teens Excited About Manhood) groups meet weekly at schools in Montgomery and

surrounding counties during lunch time or study hall period.

Trained mentors meet with guys in small groups to challenge teens to be men of character

and plan ahead for their futures

Topics include:
• Respect
• Living life as part of the team
• Drugs and Alcohol
• Future Choices

 


NEW LIFE

Support for single, pregnant women

A woman who finds herself in an unplanned pregnancy often feels alone and afraid.

Concerns about being a mom,her relationships, money, and more can overwhelm her.

New Life offers you friendship, caring support, and practical help throughout your pregnancy.

Topics include:
• Preparing to be a mom
• Healthy relationships
• Handling stress
• Budgeting

NEW HOPE

Support for mothers whose daughters are single and pregnant

A mother has many hopes and dreams for her daughter.

When an unplanned pregnancy occurs many new decisions, changes, and challenges lie ahead.

New Hope addresses the practical isues and emotional needs you have as a mother and future grandmother.

Topics include:
• Family communication
• Boundaries
• Birthfather and family

NEW MOMS
Support for new moms

Coming home from the hospital, a mom may find the thrill of having a new baby may lessen as the

responsibilities of parenting become a reality.

New Moms helps you learn how to take care of yourself and your baby, while still working towards your

personal goals and dreams.

Topics include:
• Parenting skills
• Time and energy mnagement
• Single parent relationships
• Budgeting

DAD’S UNIVERSITY

Support for new dads

A new dad has much to learn.

Dad’s U gives you the tools, practical help, and confidence for the challenges that lie ahead.

Topics include:
• Becoming a responsible dad
• Communication skills
• Dealing with your anger
• Financially supporting your child

LOVING CHOICE
Support for birthmothers who are currently pregnant and considering adoption or have recently placed their baby

Every birthmother searched her heart to make the right decision for her and her baby.

Loving Choice nurtures you as you design a well thought out adoption plan.

Compassionate care comes from others who have also made this emotional decision.

Topics include:
• The adoption plan
• The birthfather
• Good emotional grief
• Building relationships with the adoptive family

 


TENDER MERCIES

Support for women and men experiencing damaging emotions from a past abortion

Many women experience feelings they never imagined when they made their decision to have an abortion.

These feelings may include sadness, guilt, anger, depression, emptiness, isolation, regret and more.

Trained leaders, many of whom have worked though their own abortions,

can help you come to a place of healing, peace, and hope.

SILVER LININGS
Support for women and families who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death

A family who has lost a child often feels an overwhelming sense of emptiness, deep pain and loneliness.

Silver Linings is a group where families experiencing a similar loss, listen and support one another through

the stages of grief, healing, and closure.
