Had an Abortion?
One out of 5 American women has had at least one abortion. For many it may have occurred years ago, but the effects have lingered in subtle and sometimes overt ways.
A recent study of post abortive women showed ...
- 100% Experienced grief and/or loss
- 92% Experience guilt, anger, and depression
- 89% Feared others would find out
- 81% Felt victimized
- 81% Had reactions on certain dates
- 73% Had flashbacks of their abortions
- 67% Felt they were going crazy
- 65% Considered or attempted suicide

Tender Mercies is a support group for men and women who have experienced abortion. The purpose of Tender Mercies is to help them confront the reality of her abortion. We offer a place where they can begin to learn how to process the losses and express the grief with others who have similar experiences.
Tender Mercies can help with the emotional pain and scars abortion has left on their lives. The main objective is to deal with the past so that it can no longer effect the present and future in negative ways.
